Extending the wire length from my motor.

From engine: 16 gauge if i recall correctly.

The throttle wires i'm not sure about though.
I measured the throttle wire with calibers and came up with 0.73 mm. According to a chart I saw online that makes them 21 gauge. Does that
sound right to you?

There is no issue with using a bigger wire gauge or going from aluminum or clad to copper.

Its like a highway. With the exact same wire size, you have enough lanes to where traffic isn't slowed down, and if you go bigger, there's just extra lanes.

They just use small wires to save money and so they're more flexible, compact, and lighter.
