George Bernard Shaw unmasked the simple mindset of the semi-secret Fabian Socialist Society, as he was one of their number. Shaw stated the Lucifarian goal:

"Under Socialism, you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you liked it or not. If it were discovered that you had not character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner; but whilst you were permitted to live, you would have to live well."

Fabian... stop trying to bring your garbage to our shores and our website. We have enough as it is and we are in the process of riding ourselves of it as we speak.

doubt it... he subscribes to the "in your face, up yours" kinda socialism. The kind you either get along with... or get sent to the "re-education" camps.

    vtec, you're a good man.
If arceeguy was still here, and he was propositioning me for a fight, you'd see some reasonable work on my end of the convo.

I'm certainly reluctant to get involved in name calling and personal attacks as it's such a waste of good thinking time when other persons don't have an acid heart or fund their personality with negative energy.
Having said that, if someone want to take things down a few levels of civility, i have a lasting memory of my time in the army and particularly the brilliantly placed, cutting insults from my drill sergeant as he was a rapporteur of vile and degrading and dehumanising verbal attacks (actually he was sensationally good; where i'd struggle to contain my laughter on the parade ground) and his methods served me well in times of leadership roles outside of army life.

My preference: lets keep it civil and tree hugging friendly.

I will keep things civil as long as you cut out the socialist propaganda...

    I dont like socialists.

on a side note... I dont think you are a bad person either. I just disagree with a good deal of what you say.

All types of forums tend to run in similar ways: topics of polarisation.
Socialist propaganda, certainly not. I just look to countries of the world where they employ social balance to their economic models, and the nordic countries do it very well indeed.

you are entitled to your opinion, but by simple deduction... so is everybody else. We are different than everybody else, you cannot compare us to small euro nations like Norway.

the Nordic countries are not a diverse melting pot. They are for the most part homogeneous... much easier to sign onto one universal plan when everybody is similar in appearance and thought.

The Nordic countries are not the leading superpower. As such... they are not the constant target for terrorism, espionage, and antagonistic ridicule/criticism from the international media. It would be much easier to get the American people to change if we were not under constant threat of attack from foreign and DOMESTIC enemies. Unfortunately, the socialism that is being sold to us is not designed to help anybody. Its designed to reduce our economic and political strength in the global geopolitical arena.

due to where we came from and the land we live on... Americans are born independent, we have haven't been collectivists since we headed west. In fact, our federation is made from a union of individual states. By our very nature we would not survive under a centralized command and control economy. You simply cannot apply a "one-size fits all" mentality because what is good for the average Virginian might not be good for the average Floridian.

So you can blab all you want about government funded education. We know that universal education only leads to an oversupply of college graduates.... we are experiencing it right now, ask any of the millions of college grads with no jobs to go to. You can blab all you want about the greedy oil companies, and the health care too. All you are doing is just creating a wall between yourself and all the people here that want their country back. They can import all the Latin communistas and soviet spies they want... the people of this country will never stand for it once the truth is known.

Fabian... social balance isn't what made this country great. Hard work and cut-throat competition is what made this country great.

I can follow your thought structure but you're completely delusional that America is a super power when it's running up multi trillion dollar deficits that can never be paid back; funded by the rest of the world: the borrower is servant to the lender.
Your political leaders choose to have America being the target for the kind of activities perpetrated against it because they choose to participate in it.
