Was doing some demo on a friends house today and seen two of these sitting in a pile of rubble and thought damn that looks alot like it would fit on a 40mm intake i wonder if it could make a decent intake gasket.....????

i tried metal gaskets they always leaked for me unless they have lips on the edges of them

Lmao that exactly what it is it would atleast make a descent stencil for a gasket thats for sure lol

It would make a great stencil, but for gaskets you need a soft material so it can form to the irregularities on mating surfaces.

Cereal/cracker box makes good gasket material.

if you get the right torque and not get a faulty gasket they can hold up for a very long time

did the cereal box bcs I was cheap for little while,, they held up for 100 or so miles then they r toasted
