The name is deceptive, why call it a 100 cc engine when it's 78 cc engine? I don't see why these companies cannot build a decent 48 cc using the same construction but with better port timing, reed valves and compression ratios. They would pass for legal in more states here in the US.

I see no deception here, it's called YD100 not YD100cc, and in description the actual displacement is clearly stated as 78.54cc

Is Didn't zeda go with the 50mm bore for the yd100? If so is the 40mm jug compitable with the yd100 and what is tje advantage of having this setup. Zeda's is the bt100 i'm not really sure who's putting out the yd100,the yd will except a regular 47mm jug as the bottom end remains unchanged.The...

Is the one piece cylinder/ head a plus or a minus when compared a 2 piece design?

No option to rotate the head may create some spark plug clearance issues

It has it's pros and cons. I would never want one because you set squish with the base gasket and can't run an aftermarket head. For the average rider the lack of a head gasket could be a major improvement.
