FD on a 29

    Anybody ever put a Staton FD on a Genesis 29 Cruiser?

    I was at my local Walmart today and saw that Big Ole Black Bike
    It sure was cool! Just wondering How my FD would perform on it.

    Yes, if you search past pages you'll find that same bike has been used and on numerous bikes with 700c size tires which is the same thing. Tire size doesn't effect FD gearing like other drive systems.

    Absolutely correct. The ONLY factors affecting potential max speed/torque on a friction drive is the engine RPM and the roller diameter.
