Finally got out of the neighborhood with Predator 212cc stock on Meridian trike.

And exactly why im questioning the validity of this chart and calling it pure bunk...lol...DAMIEN
Dude obvious there's more than one condition in physics. But theoretically you could get near this with on flat ground and reduced drag.

Really???...Its totally inaccurate...My CG is never going to go at 118 MPH

And another one...how the hell would i know if there is a governor even on there...I specialise on keeping things stock, as they come out of the box as most folks will ever use them...If there is a governor on this Zeda 80, i would not know...i wouldnt even know where to find it and disable it...DO YOU KNOW WHERE IT IS and how to disable it???...But if there is, im glad it is...118 MPH on friggin bicycle...you have got to be kidding me...That chart is totally bogus...Prove to me otherwise...DAMIEN
Dude get on of these::

and measure all the bits that rotate on your bike and we'll do the homework for you. We'll even pre-chew your steak for you!

I’m questioning if the OP has a governor in his 212cc engine.
Hey, yes it still does and I've heard she's pretty safe with the governor out I guess I'll find out.

I'll be doing a governor bypass instead of a removal just to see what the difference will be and possibly later a removal.

There is certainly plenty of Youtubes on this motor and I have 2 other 212 just sitting patiently in the garage to be thrown on some other projects. Yeah I kinda thought this pandemic was gonna take awhile.

Idle hands, satan's play things and the such....

Anywho, another day of rain has kept me from edging this little beasty further into her limits...WolvMarine....🤣

If you bypass the governor and attain any kind of rpm you might not get a chance to remove it, it will remove itself along with a few other bits.
Just remember, it's a plastic gear designed for 3600 rpm.

With all the time on your hands, might as well do it right, do it once.

Yes, all your assumptions are correct. RPM is a mystery I did a quick search for "China Girl 2 strokes Zeda 80 rpm" and really didn't get anything definitive. I guess that's another plus for getting this bulletproof cheapo, ~$100, thumper. Guesses point to 5500 max RPM. If so, your looking at::

But you'll be dealing with this before you get there::

F_{D}=\frac{1}{2} \rho v^{2} C_{D} A
You can't use this gear ratio chart for a CG

This gear ratio chart is for a gear (sprocket) on motor crankshaft and a gear (sprocket) on the rear axle. That's it, from crankshaft to rear axle.

A CG has compound gears this chart don't apply
