Finally rode my 49cc 4 stroke - Few issues

Tommy check out grubee for a tranny. Can't be that expensive and a grubee will be a quality tranny.

Thank you for suggesting that website! I was not aware of them. Yea, none of those transmissions fit the straight shaft engines. So I will have to get a new engine.... I think this is just a lesson learned from buying an eBay kit. It's just junk. The only thing is - I'm not sure if they are still open as the front page has a message from the owners saying they are stuck in China. Their transmissions are belt drive too - I assume they're OK though compared to the eBay ones? I like the idea of a belt drive because they are quieter..but obviously I don't want one if they are junk.

Q-matic transmission. Looks like this is one of the best ones out there.. Expensive though and their website is terrible. Does not say what engines it will fit. I sent them a message.
