Finished my Indian fenders! Bonus: Fishtail exhaust.

I've recently finished brazing my fenders and welding on a fishtail exhaust. I feel so empowered now knowing how to weld with my torch! Might buy a good multiproccess arc welder and tig weld me an inframe tank. Just when I think I'm finished with it, I think of some other improvement. Next I want to create an on-board electrical system with a hub generator that will light all of my electrical components. The possibilities are endless! Adding a lot of weight to it though. Pushing 100 lbs.

Yes, my bike rack is exactly the one Frankenstein found and coincidentally paid the same price for it from a seller on eBay. It served me well for about a year but I should really upgrade to a more heavy duty one because this bike is about 95lbs and this rack is rated for 70lbs. It also wobbles around a lot in the receiver and part of the tubing on the rack is starting to bend. Its hard to find a platform rack with a 100lbs. capacity for ~$250. The Thule EasyFold rack would be Ideal, but I am not sure if I want to spend $700 on a stupid rack. The best part about it is It has a ramp I can walk the bike up

That ramp is the saddest thing I've seen marketed in a while, if you can handle riding a bike you should at least have the strength to load it onto a trailer. I get you may want to use it on a heavy bike and that's totally acceptable, however, it's obvious they seriously meant you to use the ramp to load a bike that probably weighs less than said ramp. The gimmicks never end do they?

Agreed. They probably just added the ramp so they have an extra excuse to sell it for $700.

It is rated high enough, but I wanted a double for 2 bikes instead of a single. After your review of your I guess I will keep looking.

I imagine the typical motorized bike weighs more than 45lbs. though, so if you wanted to motored bike on one rack, this would be pushing it.

You need to have a 2" receiver though.

My main hold up is my 1.25" receiver. Not many heavy weight racks are made for it.
 
Amazing looking bike! As for the guy looking for a rack, I would look into the cheap dirt bike racks, if they can hold a motorcycle should be fine with a bike on there, and wont be abused as much as a chintzy bike rack.
 
Very nice, beautiful concept. Relocating the aux lights from the top to the sides of the main headlamp was a smart move. Now if I were you I'd lose sleep over that pig of a gas tank in the rear, and try to find a better solution.
