Besides an all fiberglass tank, you could make a cover for the standard tank from fiberglass- that's what I did. I wanted an angular look, but any shape is possible.

Here Is the glass epoxy tank that I made. Its coated on the inside with Por-15 to protect it from Ethonol.

Dbower - I've got some of those white kendas on my bike. I think they look sharp on these style bikes.

im going to visit that derringer cycles store tomorrow in person and tell them they are WAY ovrepriced!!! haha, i build bikes just like this for 900. this includes custom tank, paintjob, and other accessories, such as running lights, and we break in the bike and engine extensively before it gets to the customer to make sure it will be reliable for them. this store is only 15 mins away from me haha

Theres (2) on ebay right now...One guy in New Mexico has two for sale...$3500 ...WAY too much for me but I hear they are nice...Just did a search the other day for the **** of it and it came up.

What kind of frame did you use? Is it modified at all? Where did you get the handlebars and front forks?
