First time build using Schwinn Point Beach cruiser bike

Hello, I just got a Point Beach (rare over here in Belgium) and want to build a 2 stroke motor in it. From what I read, it should work out, but I have a question about the front downtube (it's 35 mm diameter, about 1.38 inch). I am looking to get a BBR engine and they have a universal front engine mount that allows for to up to 2 inch front frametubes. Won't that be too big though ? Especially because if it doesn't fit properly, you stress the frame too much.

If you go to your local muffler shop, they will have these clamps, https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-694725-1 just get one for 1.5" muffler, and a small piece of plate steel.

So 1.5", that'd be 38 mm

Just multiply by 25.4, like my buddy in OZ.

My friend in New Zealand says, "We can get one inch, but we have to order 25.4mm".

Thanks guys ! I ordered a BBR engine with the optional heavy duty universal bracket so I have multiple options. All part of the fun
