I just fixed the idle on my kings engine. I did it by driving down a country road (no traffic) and slowly turning the idle screw in until the bike would idle. That was the only way I could figure out how to do it by myself. Not that I recommend this type of uncontrolled riding, but if you are trying to do this by yourself it's a great way to go.

In the future you can set it "too high" then when you dismount, hold the clutch in and back the screw down until it stalls, then turn it in 1/4 turn.

I'm one of those odd sorts who doesn't care if the bike stalls, it restarts so incredibly easily. Death at stoplights makes my bike a poor man's prius. :D

Thanks man.... I wasn't too sure whether to go in or out to accomplish what I was trying to do. That's why I did it riding. But your idea is great. If it happens again (now that I know which way to turn it) I will try it your way for sure.
