I have a kawasaki FJ100D AS00 3hp engine. Upon removing the piston I noticed it was missing the bottom compression ring. My question is will a Honda GX100 rings kit work? they are both 56mm bore so the only thing I'm worried about is ring thickness. I will also need a new exhaust valve because the old one is worn and pitted. I saw one genuine parts seller for the kawasaki rings but they were more expensive close to $40.
