man have I had a lot of flat tires. I stay on top of my air pressure and I'm not ridding on any rough terrian any suggestions. Perhaps I should use "SLIME" also note I always purchase the best tubes available.
Ever since i put on my "Mr. Tuffies" i havent had a flat , and that was...hmmm...that was long ago. before that, i carried a can of fix-a-flat and that always helped. even if the puncture was too big to seal, the fix-a-flat pumped enough air in tires to get me to destination. i HATE slime because if you use it, and then later have to use fix-a-flat, the chemical reaction (this is a guess as to why) of the two turns it all water-like :???: .
trader- where are the punctures occuring? Tread? From the spokes?
How about a set of those "thorn proof" 12 dollar tubes?
I can say I have never had a flat on the road in 40 years of riding. That's if you don't count the time I had a blow out on the front tire of my hardley ableson at 70 mph......
