Hey everybody. I posted on here awhile ago about trying to get an engine for my Lowrider bike while I was in Iraq, but couldn't pull it together. I've since come home and found this little gem on craigslist.........

It was put together by a young kid, so there is alot that needs to be redone to it. It has been dumping fuel into the carb, we tore it down and noticed the needle had a ring of wear around it. I'm trying to locate a rebuild kit, but I don't even know what size engine it is. Can you guys give me some pointers on it? I really want to get this thing going so I can ride it to work and whatnot. Give me some input!!!

God Bless,
John

hi john, thanks and welcome home. great looking rig. unless they have been replaced, when you remove a bolt nut or washer, replace with american. i cant tell what kit it is, but someone will know. a local small engine shop can help on carb. replace coil wire and cap at car parts. it takes tinkering. good luck mitch

Thanks man, I already replaced the coil, so we are getting the desired spark. I found this out by holding onto the plug wire and letting the clutch out. Remind me not to that agian. I actaully got it to fire a few times going down the road, but not enough to keep it running. Your telling me rebuild kits are not available online? I could take it to a lawnmower shop, but I'm not sure how familiar they would be with said carb. There must be some kind of website I would think.
