These types of grips are the cat's meow. They clamp to the bar and are easy to adjust and get off/on. Weird, but they do look comfy. I wonder if the right hand grip would work with the throttle if the end plug wasn't tightened.

The lock ring is on the inside side of the grip. The holes on the outside I think are just air holes. Once you tighten that lock ring the grip won't move at all even though it's just on 1 side.

They suck for off road riding

Their only good for just casually cruising down the bike path

I would surmise most of us ride on slab 90% of the time = better grips for hand comfort. Nuff said!

Nah, I hate those kind of grips
But yes you are correct, many E bikers and M/Bers like those grips

Have you ever seen anything like them on a Motorcycle "no" Nuff said!

The closet thing to that for a M/C is the throttle palm rest and that's just to keep the same speed while cruising down the Fry
Not to control the bike

But of course new big Touring and Cruiser M/Cs have cruise control these days so no palm rest is needed anymore for the Lazy Rider
