HI first bike build dose a friation drive engine have to be on top of wheel or can it mount at front of rear tire on a angle under seat dont want it to look like a luggage rack

First off welcome to the group. Glad your here.

Is it going to be a 4 stroke or 2 stroke? because 4 stroke needs to stay horizontal (level) or the oil will
flood through the crank/piston into the carb. The 2 stroke is more forgiving. The furthest angle I have
ever had a bicycle 2 stroke tilted and still ran good is at the 10:00 or 2:00 position (ruffly)
Then there's my 2 stroke chainsaw which runs great at 360 deg.
