Friction Roller Slipping Out Of Adjustment?

The staton chain drive supports hold the gearbox up not down... it would require some clever engineering to get them to work as a tension device. Unless of course you were just thinking about slotting them as well?

Actually the chaindrive supports COULD work to hold the friction housing in place. However those adjustable butterfly bolts aren't very secure in the way they're installed in the box tubing.

:unsure:A more effective way would be to shorten the chain drive supports. Then weld 2" of threaded rod into the box tubing. Install an adjustable turnbuckle and clevis to raise and lower the engine channel.

The forward Staton chain drive supports also stabilize the front U-bracket and connect at the frame dropouts.

:unsure:I might use this idea to strengthen my engine channel.
