I'm so angry at this piece of junk I may just take a hammer to it and toss it in the dumpster. In fact if I don't mess with the needle, that is absolutely my plan for the next hour, to take my frustrations out on that china junk with a ball peen hammer!

The ONLY reason I will purchase from a shady outfit like CMB is because I can use PayPal and make payments, otherwise I'd never purchase from there again.

I feel you brother if I can't get my piece of crap going I'm burning mine and will not give penny to the Chinese. People are afraid of the Chinese but if these bulls**t motors are are anywhere near what there military equipment is we'll slag em.

They are much like the Russians with their military hardware as seen in Ukraine, they are both "Paper Tigers".

They can only over compensate for this with sheer numbers of personel in their armed services which is all due to their one point whatever Billion people population they have in China...lol.

Well it turns out for me it was a loose choke I didn't notice until the very end. I did need a new carb setting to run optimally after the gasket replacement, but now it seems to have all the power that it did before problems started. Now I have to keep the choke so tight you can barely close it. If I do use the choke, that nut will loosen again. IDK if you can Loctite the choke nut to a certain tension, but that's the only possible fix I can see.

It stayed tight for months before backing off.

Maybe a new carb will solve things more permanently. They are pretty cheap, though I hear for these motors carbs barely make a big difference?

Anyway I am planning to buy a "ported" Wildcat kit. Comes with an expansion pipe with a small muffler on the end. Muffler is important for my apartment complex, cuz I do make night trips to the store, and I ride across the lawn to my patio to park. Probably as of now, less noisy than the landscapers. Anyway I've always used a proper muffler with the baffle intact, so no one has ever complained. Last night I left a light on and the neighbor left me a not letting me know, so I had to put the lights on the charger (and I had JUST recharged too).

I don't need super power, or an Avenger or Phantom. What I have pulls all the hills I need to pull, can can even get up steeper ones if I'm willing to pedal assist some. I'd just like enough power to really cruise up. As it is, I can get up a fairly long steep hill at about 12-15mph. Seems to lock in around 3500RPM or so and is able to keep it all the way up. The speed limit on the hill is 30mph, so nobody is flying past..
