Front Brake Screw?

The Whizzer I bought runs now! However, I noticed that the screw that connects the front brake arm to the front forks it missing. Sooo my front break does not work. What type/strength of screw will be needed? It is a 2000 WC1.
 
Use grade 5 or better screw, in metric that's a grade 8.8
Makes sure the screw ain't too long (cut it if necessary) or it will hit the fork tube and put a dimple in it. Then the fork will jam in the down position ruining the fork tube.

Her is a pic of a screw I used. I bought it at ace hardware
10mm x 8.125mm This screw is made from nickel and has the strength of A-2 stainless which is = to grade 8.8 metric

I'd use a button head bolt
