It's May now and riding around I desired to put some cheapo MTB forks on my Schwinn jaugar 4 stroker pros, they do work and smooth out the ride at higher speeds , irregularities in pavement bumps dips driveways potholes HA, HA. Feel those no matter what ! Cons are the forks are a little longer , changes the the look it looks like a comfort bike now they're narrower so can't use my mechanical speedometer now ,it just doesn't feel or look like a cruiser now ,may go back to original forks ,I really like springers which I have on my Lowrider bobber apehangers . Anybody done the same appreciate your input.

There's 2 of us on here recently been looking at forks and all that... Some pictures and measurements 1" or 1 1/8... Steer tube length etc... 160mm 180mm 230mm the dual springs 3 types ...the low rider single spring are the weakest ones... The long Electra cruiser needs a top bracket made to fit the 220mm longest double springs fork so it doesn't bottom out 2 5/8" longer ... For example...

Decided to go with the monarch style double spring 1" threaded steering tube they're pricey but couldn't resist , much stronger than single springer , those heavy duty single springer will work fine if you need up the bolts add nylon washers between all metal grease up really well but I wouldn't trust them trying to take fast turns, slow down😬 Thanks for the input.👍

I cracked the steer tube on the cheaper double springer... And got the stronger ones coming in next month... There are 3 or 4 different types of monarch forks... The sunlite is the heaviest duty one I've gotten so far...
