Front Wheel Drive

Here is a Motor bike I snapped together on a old Roadmaster.
It has a Power Products AH47 and Whizzer Type Sheeve with Belt Drive.
It moves along pretty good and the fork can be pulled out and put on another
bike in a snap.

I like it, elegant and simple. How does it steer with the extra weight?

It steers really well. You have to keep in mind that when wheel is turning the centrifugal force is working in your favor. Keeping the front wheel stable when parked is a different story. It is a little on the top heavy side. If you were going to build something you are better off driving from the back of the bike. Like on a rear rack. I only built this to test it.

Thanks ! I use it for testing all kinds of engines! 2 Cycle and 4 Cycle engines,Clutching and ratios. I even had a
electric motor on there. I made up different plates to mount the engines to for quick change of power plants.Since the REAL environmental issues at this point I am staying away from 2 cycle engines but they are a little faster on the top end and much lighter in weight. Roy
