Fuel leaking

I just used my motorised bike for a proper journey today for the first time and while I was waiting at a traffic light I noticed copious amounts of fuel dripping down, upon furthur inspection it looks as if theres fuel FLOWING out of the breather pipe, and to top it off my twist valve on the side of the carb has broken leaving only a stub i have to turn with a pair of pliers.

The only thing I could think of is maybe the valve on the side of the carb shouldnt be fully open maybe only a little bit open.

Help!.

Thanks in advance.

fuel-leaks are searchable problems with solutions. see the "happy-time owner's manual" for proper terminology, which will help. read the "similar threads" section below, search them and post a "reply" with your question...maybe go back and read your "welcome" message, too.

I have a carb with big air filter on it. Which name is that? Nt? I'd but it's leaking everywhere ou the back where filter goes like a sive. Anybody know why? Putting factory back on to look at it.

leaking out the air filter is usually a stuck float or float needle
