Fuel mixture screw / Replace box exhaust?

I think you are correct Damien1307, who can stop the corporations when our own governments care more for them than their own populace.
It's all about the money my friend...lol.
If "the love of money is the root of all evil" as I believe it is, this should tell you how evil intent they really are.

Got the exhaust off the huasheng 49cc but stumped as the bolts that attach the box exhaust are also embedded into the engine. I assumed the bolts were 2 sided but using a wrench not sure if they were turning. Any ideas or advice? I do not want to apply to much pressure and break them. And do you think the metal heat plate is sufficient without gasket?

Those studs have threads on both ends and thread into the engine. Tap on the end of them and use some vice grips to unscrew them. Not sure what heat shield you're referring to. Probably do not need it but you definitely need a gasket before you install the new pipe.

Thanks Michael that is what I had assumed but wanted another to confirm. Ordered these gaskets, hope I chose correctly =)

I wonder if this muffler would have been a better choice?

There is no guarantee that it will fit without modifications that you might, or might not, be able to do. The one you chose should work with no issues. You definitely want to get rid of that shield in the picture. Doing so will let the air circulate around the fins better without it.

Thanks for the input Michael, greatly appreciated. Probably would have to bend that other pipe quite a bit to get it to fit and maybe in more than one spot so the one I got is good. Just hoping one of these gaskets is the right one..

That muffler won't fit, it's an expansion chamber type exhaust made for a 2 stroke. The one you bought will work fine, even better if you're not adverse to snipping it in half and adding a silicone hose extension in between.
