Fuel mixture screw

3/4-1 1/2 is a good starting point. Your altitude has to be taken in to consideration.

Take your chain off and start it up, get it warm and then start tuning.

I've got the same engine and I don't take the chain off. You set the idle mixture with the engine at idle so the clutch had better not be engaged. You might hold the brake if the bike is trying to go forward. Once you've done it, it's not abig deal.

6500 ft ..............wow! You might be down on power a little but the good thing is the main jet in your carb is just fine. Mine came from the factory too lean to meet the EPA standards for America. I had to drill mine larger but seeing as you do not have as much air pressure where you live the leaner jet in yours should be perfect.
