Full suspension build ups and downs

Thought I would post pics of my long awaited full suspension build. Looks like the biggest problem now is locating the card. I got most of it fabricated until more parts show up. Going to build the wheels next followed by pit bike hydraulic calipers

Are you gonna be using a jackshaft?
Not sure? I put a jackshaft on My other bike and it has been nothing but problems. I had to redo the whole system and it took a lot of tuning.

Looking good so far!

If I was going to use a jackshaft id make sure it's possible to provide adequate tension on the chain. that can be a real PITA when you got 3+ chains to deal with.

if your gonna go the normal way, id spring (ha, get it?) for a spring-mounted tensioner (either Duluth or a knock-off) since keeping the chain tight when the suspension is moving is gonna be a challenge.

That looks really interesting.
Regarding the jack-shaft/shifter issue, I agree with you on the complexity/set-up issues initially, but for me, once I got mine set up, reinforced, and adjusted properly, it's really reliable, and way more fun to ride.
By the way, I highly recommend d the Sick Bike Parts left side chain tensioner as a really nice option to increase reliability.

If your going to order from Sick Bike Parts, you best do it quickly as they are winding down their operations and going out of business...They will be selling out their existing stock snd that will be it...DAMIEN

I'm just curious about the left side drive and how you're gonna keep the chain tight while the rear axle is gonna be changing distances constantly while you ride.

A full suspension bike would be nice.

FD works well on full suspension bikes when the kit is isolated to the rear swing arms. Easy with a lot of frame designs.
