Full suspension build ups and downs

Thought I would post pics of my long awaited full suspension build. Looks like the biggest problem now is locating the card. I got most of it fabricated until more parts show up. Going to build the wheels next followed by pit bike hydraulic calipers

I'm just curious about the left side drive and how you're gonna keep the chain tight while the rear axle is gonna be changing distances constantly while you ride.

A full suspension bike would be nice.
I figure if you used the crank as a jack shaft with two gears on the left side, one from the engine and one to the rear sprocket, that would work.
Of course engine offset would have to be taken into consideration.
 
Got some updates for you full suspension enthusiast. I hope you enjoy my creation and please comment below. I have a 220mm rotor coming to better suit the rear caliper and give me the option to run a bigger sprocket

I'm predicting broken chains and chain lock problesm as well here since the "floating" full suspension frame is not forgiving on the chain drive assembly and will also strain the drive gear and rear sprocket in the process as well...DAMIEN

As long as your tail swings in a perfect arc and is limited in distance traveled to a few inches, doesn't matter much. How a motorcycle does it with out a spring tensioner.
 
From what I can tell the geometry of the suspension will make the chain looser as it compresses. The spring tensioner will have enough compensation to account for a looser chain.
