Thanks! Those heads are garbage! Overheating issues for sure. Not worth it. I lapped the jug and head and it helped a lot.

Mate looks like you have have built a beasty bike. Have often wondered if it was possible to build a good off road gas bike.

Sad fact but lock down has given bikers time to fine tune their bikes. I'm finally starting on my in frame tank and after that the wife wants garden work done. My answer to that is I'll just take a short ride first.....................

SWEET, who is the manufacturer of the bike, I have a 98gt lts4000. I don't have a jackshaft , so I mounted 2 tensioners, one on the swingarm and a spring loaded one on the motor. That allows for the rear travel on the swingarm.
