garage door chain

hi all...my chain broke 10 minutes into the first ride...yup...the original chain....so in my nick of the woods(nova scotia, canada) finding a 41 chain is the proverbial needle in the haystack. ironically i was able to find a # 40 chain..go figure....low and behold a chain from a garage door opener was given to me to try(# 32 chain i think)...again low and behold it worked beautifully...not bad for a free fix....amy thoughts on the #40 chain vs the garage door chain?

so far so good after about 75 miles !!!!
