Hello all,
I was pondering the idea of putting a gas gauge on my bike. Our motors get really really good gas mileage so why put a gauge on it? I tend to forget to check the fuel level in the tank before I go ride and half way thru it I run out of gas, mainly because I rode to work and back on the bike for 3 or 4 days and now I have hardly any left. If I had a gauge to glance at before riding, then I could stop running out of gas.
I have seen these gas cap gauges for lawntractors and have wondered if they might work, however the lock and seal might not be the same as the stock gas tank that comes with our engine kits. Anyone have any ideas?
