I'm getting tired with these motors. Every week I face a new issue, today my engine had started to leak gas from the exhaust. I was so frustrated It was working fine yesterday running 20:1. It had rained overnight tho. I went to see if the clutch was the issue and when I pulled off the clutch cover I saw mixed gas and oil drop like crazy. I tried to see if there was a spark and there is a definite spark. What's going on what am I suppose to fix to get it running again

Leaking from the exhaust sounds like the petcock was left open and your float stuck, filling your crank case.

I haven't ran a petcock or inline fuel shutoff in a few years now, no issues.

Without a petcock, the only thing keeping your fuel from dumping into the crankcase is the float bowl.

I used to forget to close mine. Had a minor earthquake 5 or 6 years ago, went out to the garage, smelled gas. My bike's engine was full of fuel. Took a while to get all of it out of the oil. I don't recommend running without a petcock! I _always_ shut mine off now.

Take my advice get a 49cc huasheng motor or put a 12 gauge slug through that and buy an 80's tomos, puch or other moped. Life's too short to be fixing Chinese junk. $400-$600 they are often cheaper than China moneypits. Street legal since they have vin #'s. My crap motor had one of the 3 pin dogs that hold the clutch plate freefloating scraping the cover and the engine would pretty much runaway sometimes when it chose. Never buying one again. Loud vibrates everything and doesn't last. Feel free to comment about how good those motors are spare I can't see it anyways.

I've had the float stick a few years back, was an old dirty carb I hadn't gotten around to cleaning yet. No fuel entered my engine, it all spilled out of the overflow tube. Cleaning it fixed that.

I don't think the fuel petcock has anything to do with it. When I bought another 80cc motor (last year) I never had this issue and my petcock was always open. The thing I found funny is that when I pull in the clutch it stops leaking right away. After I let go to try to turn on the engine I hear a different sound than normal and fuel leaks from the exhaust. Could my engine be flooded? If so how can I fix that?

To be honest with you I thought of that so many times. I wanted to sell this even though I got it for a gift. I wondered to either buy a 49cc 4 stroke or save for a grom for next year

That's what I'm working towards but the kymco spade or a scooter once I got my head out of the motorized bicycle craze I'm probably just on here out of habit.
