Gas tank leak.

Gas tank leaks alot. Will that liquid seal stuff work? Will it hurt the engine?
When it comes to a metal tank leak; if you can't weld it, then replace it.
Especially so if you see that leakage coming from one or more of those studs that are used to tighten it onto the frame bar of the bike.

It is waaaay to easy to overtighten them which cause them to pull out and leak.

Leak sealer is usually useless on this type of leak.

It didn't leak for a long time. Then it had a small leak. I thought I could fix it by tighten the nuts. Nope. It started pouring out from the bolt. So the tank is ruined now huh?

Ok so nothing I can do for the tank now. What's a good tank to buy so I don't go through this again. This bike is only 2 yrs old...smdh

This is the one I bought a few years ago to replace my 1/2 gallon tank that comes with these kits...This is a one gallon tank that doesn't use those flimsy studs to attach it to the bar.

Daaaym that's a nice bike dude. That's what I'm talking bout!!! I was going to upgrade to those rims with disc brakes. But that will have to wait till I buy a good tank. Stupid question how does the tank stay on if it's not bolted? Is it welded?
