Gas tank minimum height ?(gravity fed)

@DAMIEN1307 you are an astute individual! Kudos to that! Many would overlook the Canadian aspect of things (justifiably), but your thorough attention to detail, beautiful!
One side of my family is from Halifax, Nova Scotia...lol.
I am a born and bred Boston Yankee that used to spend some of my vacations in Canada either in "Novie" or Toronto.

Used to love sailing on the Scotia Prince as well as touring the Botanical Gardens on the way to Toronto....lol.

And lets not forget the Governor Massey Inn, restaurant, bar, mansion in downtown Toronto...I loved going there as well...lol.

I use that same attention to detail when it comes to my bike and how I build them and maintain them along with the advice I give to others when I can to help them with their builds.

This is how I build them...lol.

Well another update - I stuck the scooter on blocks and revved it, no belt slippage on either belts which is good news.....but the rpms do not seem to increase much from the 3/4 throttle point. Wondering if this is because the engine needs to be broken in a bit, but next step seems to be what a couple of you smart (smaht) fellows eluded to...that being get a Tachometer and check the rpms.

Unlike 2 stroke engines 4 stroke engines you're getting what you're getting from the factory. The only way to change that is do modifications to the engine.

You could check your valve lash clearance to make sure they're at the correct settings.

@Sidewinder Jerry - Valve lash, any tips on how to adjust correctly or does one make adjustments whilst running the engine to determine best settings? I know I have to unbolt the top square plate to access the valves. Thanks as always for the tips, greatly appreciate...all you peoples!!

There's several YouTube videos that show you how to adjust them. You'll need a small 8mm wrench, alan wrench, feeler gauges, and a top dead center tool. The video they don't use a top dead center tool but I've found you can get the most accurate adjustments if you use the correct tools.

On my 4 stroke engine I change the oil every 25 hours of use. I also check the valve lashes when I do the oil changes. I clean the air filture ever 10 hours of use. I change the fuel filter yearly. My engine is 14 years old.
