Ok I've had a 2.5 L tank on my bike that will not stay put. (I bought the bike put together) it had the regular clamps on the bottom to secure the tank to the frame. WELL not only did the tank slide left and right and up and down at higher speeds, the bottom of the tank seemed to have cracked a little and leaked gas, especially at high speeds. I drilled a hole in the center of the clamps to set a screw in, in order to keep from movement, and I also set some inner tubing along the frame to prevent vibration. Now the clamp has broken into 3 pieces from the vibration and secure bolts, and I still have no idea what to do. I ordered another gas tank and hopefully will figure out a way. Whats worked for anyone else?
