So this gearbox on Amazon looks alot like the stock one for my 4 stroke, but it says it's for a 2 stroke. Could I swap some parts from nine and it to make a better gearbox for my bike or would they just not work? Heres the stock one.

(I'm just trying to not spend $100 on the grubee or bike berry one if I don't have to)

When it says 2 stroke they're talking about the pull cord 2 stroke engines; not the pedal start engines. If it looks like the one you already have then both are of the lowest quality transmissions.

I have to find the right socket to open it up, but I've heard of some kits coming with the transmission gears welded on, since this came with interchangeable ones I was wondering if transferring the extended shift could let me jerry rig a better one for cheaper after I find my socket sets

I think they're refering to the interchangeable sprockets on the output shaft, not the ones inside. The sprocket inside is actually part of the shaft. I think your current trany is identical.

Some of these 27/9 transmissions now have a double chain in them and the larger sprockets are removable. Unlike the 27/9 single chain transmission whose larger inside sprocket is welded to the shaft. Unfortunately the shafts on these are placed in a brass bushing. This is where Gru🐝Bee has improved their 41/7 JaiLi transmission the shafts are in a sealed bearing.

So it doesn't look welded on there, could I just get a larger input gear?

Do you mean on the input on the jackshaft? A larger sprocket probably wouldn't fit. For what you'll spend trying to make that functional you could buy the JaiLi from Gru🐝Bee.

Gotcha, I figured it'd be worth a shot to check and see if I couldn't reuse hardware
