Generator/Bump motor

Something to adapt. The bike friction generator light combo is an easier option but... want to upgrade and improve more Watts than 6 to 10 that may be enough light for someone only under pedal power but I need more than that in South Lake Tahoe.. Tourists are blind.
 
yeah those little gens are low output even if you mounted a few of em,, there's hi torque dc motors you can spin for higher watts, weigh about a pound / 1.5lbs, maybe 2" diam 4" long, but you'd have like 25-30 in it
 
I mean it all depends on how much you ride and the capacity of your battery. If you have a nice sized battery, use your lights only at night, and have maybe two of the friction lights in parallel going all the time. I feel like your battery and the passive constant charging should be enough without getting a generator.
