Getting my first e-bike, Need opinions! :)

That does seem better. My local bike shop might be hesitant to work on it under the warranty that way.
It's such a simple design.

That is an internal 3-speed rear end.

You can use just electric power and your pedals don't move.
You can use just pedal power with 0 drag from the the electric system.
You can use both at the same time however you like ;-}

This is what I'm talking about, nothing crazy and if that's enough to baffle the bike shop they shouldn't be in the business..
