Hello all. Still breaking-in my first build. 48cc Chinese motor. Front drum brake wheel came from an industrial trike. I hope to move all the parts to a classic cruiser frame when I find a good one. Cheers.

Welcome

Hi try that wheel with the drum actuator on the other side, if you are not getting enuf braking power, it looks like a Worksman to me.

Thanks Mike. I mounted it that way because it appeared that the wheel rotation would help to keep the brake-side bearing retainer tight. Brake side bearing retainer seemed to loosen with the brake mounted on the other side. The retainer is followed by a slotted washer and then a lock nut.
This is the first time I have tinkered with this kind of brake so I'm open to mounting suggestions.
Cheers
