Have ordered a 26" gold beachcruiser retro frame. Everything will more or less be gold on it. Currently, it will be a rear hub motor drive about 1KW, still debating whether I need it that big. Had considered a 350watt 36volt system. Anyhow, gold straight springer for in front. While the rear wheel will be a 26" x 2.125, the front I am considering a 20" maybe with a disc brake. I know there are mounting kits out there. Not too worried about the rear wheel, but the springer forks I am a bit concerned. I had been looking for maybe a sturem archer 20 inch wheel but have not located one. Anyhow will also add a 5 speed gold cluster in the back and then an original Schwinn vintage Krate style shifter for a 5 speed. Have also considered a Bafang BBSHD mid drive setup which would leave me with just the normal wheels in the back.

My second project once I have experience in the Gold Krate will be a Chrome Krate, same EBike deal. My third project will be a chrome cruiser frame for a trike with hollow hub wheels astern and a motorcycle chopper fork up front to add a 1KW motor to. Will start posting again here, and thanks to the forum mods for keeping these great forums going.

For about a year since my Ford Mustang engine bit the dust at 121k miles, I just sold it for scrap and decided to use ebikes for local transport, even on rainy days to the doctors 6 miles away. The ebikes have worked flawlessly for me. If I need any real distance travel, I can always pop over to Hertz or Budget Rental cars and get one for long distance needs. Otherwise I figured out I am saving around $6,300.00 per years between gas, oil changes, insurance, license tags, a tune up as well as smog on the car. These next three ebikes will be cheap compared to the car which sat most of the time in my garage.

Stay tuned all and God Bless. Hoping the solid state battery options arrive soon.

Frame, Kickstand, Forks installed. It will be a rear 26" ebike hub motor with a triangle battery in bag in the frame. I measured and it works, fits nicely. The front wheel will be a 20 inch wheel. I have been searching for a 20" front hub with an Archer brake, if anyone knows where they might be selling them, please feel free to post a link. Here are today's pics. A seat post was added and the bottom set with a 44T gold chain ring and 6 1/2" crank with gold Krate style pedals will be added. In about 2 weeks, a gold shock sissybar and a 26" Black Banana seat with gold striping will be added plus the gold fenders and a large ape-hanger handle bar in gold.

I know there is also available somewhere or has been an adapter for the front springer forks to allow a disc brake option. This is another angle I am considering plus a rear mounted caliper for a rear disc on the ebike hub wheel. Again, if you know where this adapter for the front springer forks is, post it in here so others can follow. After this bike I intend to also build a "Lemon Peeler" as I had always wanted one when I was a kid, actually an Orange Krate 5 speed, but haven't found many decent orange colored frames.

All gold, that would be pimp. Ebikes can work well.
Actually, it is rather cool. They have a number of original colors but left out gold. Ironically there are no gold seats available in the 26" banana seats for sale. I did find a black one with gold lacing so am going to go with that.

If you have some basic fabrication tools (drill, hacksaw and files) you can make one of those disc brake adapters pretty easy.

You got to put a suspension sissybar with that seat to go with those springer forks.

Here's your gold seat.

I got one similar to that in a purple velvet that I wanna put on my dad's OCC chopper. He told me I could build it how I want to, but he didn't seem all to impressed by the purple velvet seat I got though lol.
