The engine was painted and polished by Kevin who goes by mypetelvis on the moto boards. He is in SoCal and occasionly rides with the Myrons guys. It was done for a full kustom bike for another member that never came to fruition. It was recently put up for sale and I jumped on it. I have wanted this engine since the first time I saw this pic almost two years ago, right now I'm planning on putting this beauty in my chopper project...Kelly

what is the purpose of that thing that connects to the fuel line going into the carb?

What does it do? Should I buy one...or continue to just have a line from the tank straight into the carb?

That's a fuel filter. You should have one to keep contaminants out of your engine.

yup, that's a "bosch" i got off the lawn-mower accessories rack at the local hardware store...$2.19 8)
