Hello,
I am in the process of constructing a jackshaft, and was wondering a good online site (with a good price) in which I can order two pillow block bearings for a 5/8" jackshaft.
Thanks

I have bought a lot of bearings from vxb.com, they also sell on ebay.
Very good prices on some items, they have lots of stuff.

Grainger and McMaster-Carr are industrial supply houses with a wide range of bearings, pillow blocks, etc. I liked having their catalogs in hand when I was working, but many like shopping on line better. I am becoming a fossil. Oh well, such is life.

BR...I would try www.staton-inc.com. David Staton will help you out. Don't just search for 'Pillow Blocks'...you will only find one or two. Contact him and tell him what you are trying to do...Or, look under just plain 'bearings'. He has a good stock in 5/8" ID plus 5/8" axle rod in bulk. Good Luck.

Patrick
