Prequel:

Well, I've been off the MB for about 1.5 years now. Went to an electric bike which I do love, 4" Fat Tire, full suspension, 17.5 Ah battery, hydraulic brakes, 30 mph top speed. I have grown to be hesitant to ride it. For one: For my commute to work, I am scared of WOT for a half hour to get the top speed of 30mph. For two: this town has gone to s**t, fentanyl zombies everywhere. I am scared to take my eyes off of it for fear it get stolen. So other than a joyride in the neighborhood I will drive my truck. Even in the truck, I've had people try and take stuff out of the bed when I am pulling out of parking lots waiting for traffic or at red lights...

The Meat:

So I am gonna put together a project I prepared for and never started 2 years ago. It's all been in storage and I've moved to a new place so I can't find a lot of stuff. Putting together a 3.4L Felt Faker with a Zeda 80 and a banana pipe. I can't find the damn CNC motor mount. However, I did find a brand new set of mag wheels and the banana pipe that I forgot I had purchased :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:.

The Questions:

1: I saw a 110cc kit on CDH Power when ordering a new clamp. Are those all that and a bag o' nickles?

2: I also saw they have spoked wheels that will fit fat tires 3" - 4".
Part 1: What is the widest tire you've seen on a Felt Faker without mounting modifications?
Part 2: Oh dang I did get an offset thing from Grubee I have it in storage somewhere never opened, lol. Why is it specifically for a Micargi Slugo? Seatpost OD? I will have to find it and try it out.

I'm hoping the job is still going well for you...I know it puts ya into deep Doo-Doo from time to time...lol.
It is, boss. I got to take the boat out on the sea of doodoo last summer to measure the depth of the sludge blanket at the bottom. Sucked cuz we wore hazmat gear and were hot as hell. Didn't know if it was sweat or sewer pond water running down your arm. I also had a guy that'd come out next to the ponds and do yoga like Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse then JUMP IN! No joke. I had to call the sheriff's on him like 3 times. He ended up getting put in the state hospital for 9 months. I only know this cuz his brother came to see me there and told me what happened to him, then, at the same meeting his brother snapped / facial expressions changed, and said, "God just told me vengeance isn't mine to take. You're safe now." LOL holy crap! No pun intended. To this day I think he came down intending to do me harm to avenge his brother.

In the meantime, summer is approaching and I want to ride to work. The eBike is GREAT but WOT in 100-degree summer for 10 miles probably will kill it. Also, 20-mile range then 5 hours of charging... Good to hear from you.

I went through my storage for 4 hours this morning looking for a $25 motor mount and never found it. But I did find a banana pipe I completely forgot I had. It was still sealed in the box. I also found a mag wheelset in the box I completely forgot I bought for it. I also found the title for my truck and other important paperwork I had given up on. Right now I am contemplating getting the spoke wheelset from CDH Power but their reviews are bad... so I will probably stick with skinny tires.

I've seen 3 inch tires on a felt faker, but that was cutting it close. The cdh110 is a very poor design, the phantom 85 is much better.
That's the one I couldn't think of. The Phantom 85. I remember Damien's post where he was talking 30 then 35, then 40, then 45, when he got it.

Or you might go with the three spoke mags I am still using all these years later and still having not so much as one problem with....Even with my fat butt on it...lol.

It was gonna be for a fat tire but that'll be on a different build. I had forgotten about the frame limitations. Maybe next year I'll get a fat tire Mongoose.
