hey I've been trying to figure out how to hook up a handlebar mounted kill switch for my gp460.
Anybody have a way to do it?

Kill Switch
1. Mount switch on handlebar, extend wire towards engine.
2. lift off plastic engine cover and observe wiring at kill switch on engine.
3. Splice wire from handlebar onto red wire, I'm pretty sure. Keep that wire still connected to rocker switch.
4. Make sure kill switch on handlebar connects to bare metal. if on a painted surface, killswitch on handlebar will not work.

I got it hooked up and working. Thanks a bunch 5-7

I never use a kill switch, I just grab the spark plug and let it ground out through me. Sometimes it makes my shoes smoke but it's very effective.

Keep the kill switch which is mounted on the engine. It's right there for you, in case something gets caught in the moving parts.

I kept the one that is already there. I just drilled a small hole for the new wire
