Well I've done it. I've done the research, or as much as I can...I've wanted to try this for a looooong time, sticking an engine on my bike. I've spent the last week looking here, looking there and then I found this site. You guys have provided me with the best info I can come across and Thedax was the most helpful to me. The site had good info, I went with the cheaper option for my 1st engine. I went w/ the F50 2 stroke 47cc engine. If I can accomplish this I will try one of the Titans, they seem to be what people love to ride with. I wanted to see how I liked building/ridiing this one before I spend 200+ on a good kit.

I think you'll do just fine.

I bought the dax 50cc kits for exactly the same reason you did and I've been entirely pleased with them.

One day I might go with something a bit quieter, but I'm in no hurry.
