My name is JR. I have recently built with help from my brother-in-law a 29er Genesis Mountain Bike with the Grubee 66/80cc engine kit. I have yet to ride it. I am told by Andrew (my brother-in-law) that it's great when it is running. So far, he has had it running for 60 yards. This is due to needing an offset intake, which I have ordered and have in my possession. We had a ton of problems installing and adjusting it, but thanks to some of the great hints I read here before starting the build, it got easier. PLEASE NOTE: If you plan to build a 29er, be prepared for a high degree of frustration during the build. The rewards more than make up for it. Will have pics up soon.

Welcome to the forum. You will have to do a lessons learned post about installing a motor on a 29er when you get all the wrinkles ironed out.

I typed up the 29er Lessons. I am hoping the Admin will make it a sticky so others can avoid the hassle/headaches I have put up with. Happy Motoring.
