I didn't like the Kennith carb so i put a 22mm Mikuni on it i had to shave the intake mount holes on the plate that goes on the hose a little bit to get a good seal

I been having a issue though with low speeds or up steep hills it dies on me when i put it too wot it seems that if i flick the choke on it helps a little bit and suggestions would help

You are lean. Check for an air leak first then the carb. Best way to tune the carb is from the bottom up. Start with the idle jet then the needle and last the main. Lot of crossover so plan on fiddling with it. Some good videos on YouTube. This may help, it's fir the oko but it's still relevant.

Yup its definately going lean on you. Time to start fiddling and becoming a mikuni expert. Lol. Like Spare said there's lots of vids on carb tuning. Start from the bottom and work your way up. I would take my screwdriver and pocket full of jets on my test rides and rejet at the curb
