Guess What I'm Doing.

Making a gasket ?.
😎👍 I don't have a drill press so drilling out the center hole is out of the question. I'm thinking of buying a jeweler's saw and cutting it out slightly undersized, then filing to finish.

Grind the end of a 1/4 socket sharp to make a punch.

Use the old gasket and tape it to the new one and go around the inside with a utility knife until the middle falls out, copper is just soft.

A empty .223 or 5.56 case makes a nice gasket punch for 1/4" or 6mm bolt. & when you mess it up you just grab another one. I use a piece of 1/2 aluminum plate for a back up when punching gaskets.

Drill out a hole in the center than use left/right angled tin snips to cut. Yellow handled snips are straight cut, green right cut, red left cut. Does a nice job if you take your time.
