I am having a friction kit built and using the honda gx100 engine in my usx trike. Should I go with this engine which is a low RPM torque monster or go with the gxh 50 honda which has to rev to get power out of it

Twice the displacement (about 100ccs versus 50 ccs), half the engine speed (3600 rpm versus over 7000 rpm), twice the weight (23 lbs. versus under 12 lbs.) for 12% more power than the the GXH50.
from another thread
OK with the 50cc engine turning max safe RPM qand going about 30 mph can I assume the 100cc turning 1/2 the rpm will go 15 mph

that all depends on gearing. if there's only a 12% power gain go 50, I figured it would be more like 70%

the torque is double
If the gearing is the same will the 100 turning 3600 RPM be a lot slower than the 50 turning 7000 RPM using the same gear ratio.
Also will the 100 hold up longer since it is turning less RPM
