After perfectly aligning the sprockets, ya might think about welding the 10t onto the shaft.

but what if i want to reuse my torque converter at a later date

Then remove and replace the shaft.

Hey, you don't HAVE to weld the sprocket.

It's just for peace of mind that your 10t will NEVER loosen up.

True I could always buy a new shaft

Is there a way I can enlarge the hole in the sprocket so it can move out farther with the adapter

A machine shop can advise you on that.

Ok so I had to put the old one back on til I can buy another sprocket with a bigger bore

What sprocket and bore do you have now?

I think it was a 60t with a 1"bore but I have a new one that came in yesterday

I think you need a caliper.

I use mine every day when I work on my bike.
