Raleigh Nitro 10spd circa 1989-1993
Dmr Moto tie'ers with only 15psi up front, 18psi rear.
kevlar front tie'er liner, purple rubber liner at rear.
front brake not necessary, (try removing all your front brake lever and all, and reap the benefits) its more fun being on the edge. ok don't try it, thats called cognitive dissonance.
In this photo its the 50cc engine with 40t sprocket,
now ive fitted a new 80cc black engine kit, today though I have to switch the front sprockets so I can use a bmx chain, its smoother and quieter,
also going back to the 40t sprocket because 44t is horrible, like being stuck in 2nd gear.
so I have plenty to do today!

Looks like a "respectable" first build, now go find yourself a front suspension fork with disc brakes. And give us a little details.

Welcome to the forum.

A suspension fork is a luxury. In the last 20 years, bike riders have been spoiled with everything from a Cannondale to a Huffy coming equipped with a suspension fork of varying quality. A standard curved fork is just as good and won't facilitate the changing of the front wheel to a newer one that features the mounting points for a brake rotor. As has been explained to me by Sidewinder, Cantilever (or V brakes) are just fine for stopping, as long as the pads aren't worn unevenly and within adjustment.

Enjoy your ride, Respectable, and always wear a helmet. 30mph is slow in a car, but on a bicycle, it's downright frightening...

I agree...I have not changed my fork on any of the bikes ive had including my present bike.

I have the 3 spoke style mag wheels on it with kevlar tires and it rides smooth as silk with the Zeda 80 motor.

I only use it on paved roads, no offroading for me at my age any more, (66 years old this month...lol), What more could i ask for...lol...DAMIEN

Note that on the of front wheel and fork, the mounting points for the brake caliper is just the normal "fork" end that fits the wheel spindle and the "Adel" clamp that holds fast to the front fork itself...never slips, never loosens up, so as you can see, you don't need the luxury of a springer front fork with caliper mounts built in.

Nice, looks good! 56 yrs young here and I too have an 80cc (The Predator 79cc actually, on a Pusher Trailer, pix to come in a future post) and the bike is currently set up with a Bafang Mid drive motor and 100Ah battery pack (with my bulk, it gets about 30 miles to a charge, hence the pusher trailer).
Happy motoring!
