top speed with the 49cc i'm using is approx. 45 mph but an honest cruising speed would be around 40 mph and i still have some throttle left at that speed. i'm looking at a 49cc watercooled that is supposed to have twice the hp but is 3 times the cost. also considering a 70 cc 4 stroke that might not be to big to mount.
